Vacation...Vacation..Vacations

WOW, so plans are in place for couple trip to the mountains for our birthdays. Then another "just us" trio to Disney in May. If that isn't exciting enough we are planning a family trip to Disney in December. My oh my it would appear we like to travel. Don't know how we will ever be able to afford our travels and children. Guess we don't have that to be concerned with for a while. It just amazes me how we could make plans for so trips in one year. If I just could make it through Christmas then it will be down-hill from there.

Disney look out he we come again!!!!!!!!!

Well, Jason and I are planning another trip to Disney. Looks like it's going to be just us this time around though. So we are going in very early May and then again in December with the family. So fatman is truly putting our DVC membership to work. We didnt win big at Tunica so that means to the overtime I need to go to pay for those lovely soveneirs. WoooHoooo.....I love it and cant wait.

Tunica Again

Jason has been promised a trip to the casinoes at least once more. So we are going in 2 weeks. Hopefully all of his practice will pay off, literally. I swear our dining room has been turned into a miniture casino with the craps layout and blackjack setup. And since we have not won the lottery yet, lol, gots to use strategy to win it. So wish us luck. It'll be the first road trip with mama's new car. = )

Mama's got a new Car

Well, it's official, after a year and half of research we finally purchased a new car for me. WOOOHOOO !!!!!!!!! I am the proud owner of a 2008 Tahoe with most of the amenities I wanted in it. We got such a good deal on it that I felt sorry for the salesman and didn't even haggle to get any lower. It was already 6K under NADA, plus they gave another 600 off the 36 month bumper to bumper. I am so happy that I can't stop smiling. Although, fatman keeps reminding me that I better be happy with it. = ) So much for trying to save money this year. Disney vacation club and now a new car, wow. But I can't help it I am so happy with the purchases that we have made. We are no longer on the fence of either decision.

Well we're back

We had a GREAAAAT time in Disney as expected. However, the kids said they did not like going in July it was too hot and too many people. We stood in line at Rockin Rollercoaster for an hour just to ride one time. It was absolutely CRAAAZZZY, but it was so worth it. And guess what? Jason got his wish we bought into the vacation club whilst there. So our next vacations rooming is paid for already. As much as we go I would say it was a good investment. So we are in midst of planning 2011's trip and looks like we are going right before Christmas. I am so excited. I have been wanting to go at Christmas every since I saw the Travel channel special coverage. Still not sure if it'll be just fatman and I or if we'll additional ones going. Lovie and Jesse told us we weren't allowed to go without them. I guess we better enjoy it while we can before too long they won't want to spend so much time with us. Well, until next time. Toooodles

Counting the days....

Until we leave for Disney. We have a 3 days before we leave and 4 days before we are in the magical world. I can not believe we are already fixing to leave. We have been antipiating this trip for such awhile now. More importantly we are already in preparation for the 2011 trip. The fatman and I are toying with the idea of it being just the two of us for christmas, but the munchkins think we should take them every time we go now. So we will see. I would absolutely love to go at christmas. To see the most magical place on earth decked for the halls I'm sure would be something to see. I'm starting to wonder if we should just buy property there at this point as much as we go and plan to go. I had only planned on going every other year not every year. BUT fatman usually gets what he wants and is VERY good of convincing me, not that it takes a whole lot.

Anticipation is growing

WOOO HOOOOO Disney is just 10 1/2 days away. We cant wait. I pick up the munchkins on tuesday evening and we leave out on Monday and will be there monday until wednesday the following week. I cant believe we are going during the hottest month but as Lovie would say "Goofy is well worth it" Can you tell who her favorite is? I cant believe all of our planning and preparation has just about paid off. AND everyone looks to be cleared to enjoy rides. Unfortunately though fatman is still struggling with his foot and not able to walk very well. So naturally his resolution to this issue has been a scooter rental. What makes it worse is his doctor has strongly recommended it as well. Of course, I do not want him to have any future issues so I have agreed as well. Just amazes me how no matter what he always manages to get his way.

Here we come Mr Disney

Loook out characters the Caldwell's are coming soon. We are two weeks away from our MUCH needed vacation. And I am so ready for it too. I should be rested up having 4 days off from work, unfortunately being ill is not a restful time. I think the munchkins are more excited this year than they were in September. I think it's more just that they know what's to come this time around. Can not wait !!! It amazes me how just the thought of Disney World can turn anyone into temporary child. We'll post more at a later time.

Updates...

Just an update, our sister in law Marty is doing better. The doctors are hopeful that the fluid filled cyst isn't anything to worry over at this time. It is benign and no need for surgical procedures at this time. SO this info is definitely a blessing. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Countdown has truly started

Welp, we are officially on countdown mentality. We are 25 days from the happiest place. We are going through and preplanning our days accordingly to reserved meals. It really does help if you have a plan when you go to Disney. I know you're on vacation and you shouldn't plan your vacy days but seriously you're going to Disney World. Still dont know who is more excited the munchkins or the adults. I think it's a pretty close race. We are so ready for a vacation. I still am not real sure we were thinking when we planned this trip in July. It's hotter than Haiti's and as humid, but that really isnt any different than home though to think of it. Already seriously planning 2011's trip to the WDW. May be going for Christmas and will probably be just the two of us. Kids aren't real excited about that though. We'll see how it goes. Everyone loves WDW.

New Job

WoooooooHoooooo. I have moved up in the world of Directv. It is great opportunity in the workplace, but I was so expecting more of a pay raise for a leadership role. I am excited and anxious all at the same time. I think moreso cause I really dont know any of the team leaders I will working with. Also, I won't be able to see all of my coworkers whom I now refer to as my friends. However, I will getting a new schedule and possibly a day shift. We'll see how it goes.

To Add to the month's events.

Seriously, we have had a run of unfortuante events in the Caldwell/ Cagle families in the last month. Now that Jason's dad, Jason, and Lovie are on ways of recovery, we have learned that our sister-in-law Marty is sick. They have found a fluid filled cyst on the base of cerebellum this past week. I am grateful for the blessing that it has been found, but very concerned for her and our family with her upcoming necessary surgery. I believe that Heavenly Father will watch her and the family. Just in this household we believe He never gives more than we can handle but I truly wish He didn't trust me so much sometimes. I will post updates as they come in. I just ask to keep her, her husband Rick and her children in your thoughts and prayers.

Roads to full Recovery

Well, fatman and lil bit are both on their ways to a full recovery. Everyone looks to be recovered by Disney trip in July. So these are all blessings. Everyone is so excited that they are both going to be well by then. Problem is due to the closeness of injuries to our trip there is concern of full mobility of everyone. Soooo, naturally Jason has come up with a way to resolve this issue. He has decided we will be renting a scooter or at the very least a powered wheel chair whilest in Disney World. The pit fall to this situation is that his doctor agrees that it wouldn't be such a bad idea. REALLY ?!?!?!?! I was fighting for fatman to exercise and this occurs. He hasn't been able to exercise but the doctor is encouraging the use of assisted mobility. This is simply because Jason isn't going to be able to manuever around on his foot for another 2-3 weeks. WOW, who knew just some stitch work on your foot could cause so many issues.

Disney 2010 Trip

WoooooHooooo. 54 days to go and then we are in the happiest place on earth. We are getting so excited, but a little anxious in hopes that everyone is well and healed completely. My thoughts are that of course fatman will be. BUT we are little concerned as to if Lil Bit will be healed well enough to rise her favorite ride of Rockin Roller Coaster. Orthopedic thinks she will be so we will see. Cant type anymore Jinx has decided to sit on the netbook and me. So until next week

Jason and the Altima rendevous

Jason was being such a wonderful husband in changing my brakes and rotors on May 24, when apparently the never ending battle between himself and the altima took a new turn. Little did we realize that there had been a bit of rain back home. In the midst of the exchange from old to new the jack fell. Of course, this led to the car falling on him. He is ok, he just tried to cut off his foot. Nine stitches and some crush syndrome. He gets 2 weeks off from work, so I'm sure he's a little happy with that. Although, I think this accident probably backfired on me more than anyone or anything else. Fatman's been trying to get me to allow the purchase of a 3-ton floor jack, but I couldn't justify it. But needless to say he now has a floor jack and jack stands.

Lovie and 4-wheelers don't mix.

Well, I think Lovie has (hopefully) learned a very valuable lesson about riding atv's. On May 15, she and two of her friends thought it would not only fun but ok to all ride one 4-wheeler. Needless to say, it wasn't. Fortunately, she only gave a heart attack once. Unfortunately, it was not a inccident in any way. Joleen just had some bumps and bruises. Destiny a little more severe with a broken foot, broken clavicle, bumps, and bruises. Lil Bit, however, scared the death out of us. She has/ had 3 broken ribs, broken clavicle, punctured/ collapsed lung, and bruising. And we just found out this week from orthopedic her ball joint in her shoulder is fractured. You know I knew I loved those munchins, but for them not be mine own, wow. I am just so very grateful that all three girls are ok and at home now. Thank you Heavenly Father for all of Your blessings.Lovie has been stating that she will never again get on a atv, but I think she will eventually.

WOWWWWW

I just realized how I completely stink of keeping up with a blog. Well, the Caldwell's still dont have any baby news. It's not that suprising though when the full effort is there. All's good though.We are anxiously awaiting of 2010 Disney trip and preplanning 2011's. Lovie and Jesse are more anxious than us I do believe though. It's such a great blessing share such an experience with the ones you love. And the midst of the anxiety of the Disney trip we are also planning a family beach trip in June. And another family vacation in November to Gatlinburg. So much for thoughts of EVER not working. Ahh, who knows maybe we'll win the lottery and we won't ever work again....Ha ha ha so much for that ACTUALLY occurring.
